Why is international cooperation important for your university?
Purdue University values international collaborations with researchers from around the world and welcomes students and scholars to campus from all parts of the globe. These international collaborations and educational opportunities are essential to the successful fulfilment of our mission to move the world forward. In Fall 2022, approximately 9500 students from abroad, representing 130 countries and 1250 international faculty and staff representing nearly 80 nations, called Purdue University “home.” Purdue’s total international student enrollments ranks 5th among U.S. Public institutions.

Also, in 2021, the Purdue Research Foundation received 169 patents, placing it first in both the state of Indiana and the Big Ten Conference, and, again, sixth internationally - making it very attractive to researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
