SIREUS strives to help Swedish and American students in finding internship opportunities


For students, working or interning abroad can be an invaluable experience that can enhance your career. However, these opportunities can be costly and complicated to handle. Therefore, SIREUS collects and shares information about internship and scholarship opportunities for Swedish and American students.

The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA) is a designated J-1 visa sponsor of the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Visitor Program which promotes educational and cultural exchange in order to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries. 

​​​​​​​The SACC-USA Talent Mobility Program assists companies searching for talented Swedish interns/trainees and Swedish & Finnish citizens in search of a practical training program  in the U.S by issuing Certificate of Eligibility (DS-2019). The Exchange Visitor Program is uncomplicated, time efficient and cost effective.
