In today's environment, democracies are challenged in sustaining collaboration in the face of conflict and competition. Academia is a critical stakeholder in maintaining free collaboration and cooperation. The SIREUS CHANCELLOR'S forum focuses on bringing together thought leaders across government, industry, and academia to share their perspectives on how best a US-Sweden network can support democracy through soft diplomacy.
SIREUS is holding an executive-level international academic conference in Washington DC from February 21st to 22nd, 2023. The conference is the first executive-level bilateral conference that SIREUS is organizing and will be co-hosted by the Embassy of Sweden. This is an invitation-only event for 40-50 senior executive-level delegates from Swedish and American academia, as well as from government. The SIREUS Affiliated Companies program will be launched at the conference, with the attendance of executives from select companies with high-level research needs.
The conference will commence with a dinner on Day 1. Speakers during the evening will welcome the delegates and set the scene for the conference. Day 2 of the conference will be held at House of Sweden, with a full-day agenda culminating with a buffet-style dinner.
