Study in Sweden Event at Washington State University

On October 7th, SIREUS hosted a Study in Sweden Event at SACC-NY in  New York City. Bringing together nine prestigious Swedish universities, the event provided students and faculty with a unique opportunity to explore Sweden as an ideal destination for academic pursuits and research. The event featured a lively mingle session, allowing students to engage directly with representatives from the Swedish universities. This personalized interaction not only offered insights into various academic programs but also facilitated potential collaborations.

The event featured two speakers who gave welcoming remarks and shared their perspectives on Studies in Sweden. Thank you to the  speakers  Barbara Wennerholm, President, The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, New York and Helmer Broberg, Deputy Consul General, The Consulate General of Sweden in New York.

SIREUS(Students, Innovators, Researchers and Entrepreneurs between the US and Sweden), is a collaboration project between The Swedish American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA) and 13 Swedish universities, focused on knowledge exchange in innovation, science, and entrepreneurship, as well as talent mobility for students and researchers between Sweden and the U.S.
