I have been a faculty member here for 24 years and have done research and taught in the areas of avian ecology and conservation biology. I have been serving as interim dean for about 7 months and oversee an academic unit that is in the top 10 forestry units in the U.S. based on research productivity and teaching excellence. We have other developing partnerships with Linnaeus University and IKEA in Sweden.
