On November 4th, SIREUS hosted a Study in Sweden Event at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington State. Bringing together eleven prestigious Swedish universities, the event provided students and faculty with a unique opportunity to explore Sweden as an ideal destination for academic pursuits and research. The event featured a lively mingle session, allowing students to engage directly with representatives from the Swedish universities. This personalized interaction not only offered insights into various academic programs but also facilitated potential collaborations. The event also featured a speakers panel featuring both Swedish and American speakers. Discussions ranged from academic excellence and research opportunities to the cultural experiences awaiting international students.

The event featured three speakers who could give the participants further information about studying and living in Sweden and shine a light on how Washington State University collaborates with both Swedish industry and academia:
- Paul Whitney, Professor and Associate Dean for Research, College of Arts & Sciences at WSU Pullman
- Dr. Joseph Iannelli, Professor and VCEA Associate Dean for International Programs at Washington State University Tri-Cities
- Christer Bergman, Program Director of SIREUS

About SIREUS

SIREUS(Students, Innovators, Researchers and Entrepreneurs between the US and Sweden), is a collaboration project between The Swedish American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA) and 13 Swedish universities, focused on knowledge exchange in innovation, science, and entrepreneurship, as well as talent mobility for students and researchers between Sweden and the U.S.
